Terms of use
Last updated: October 11, 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses OneForUno: visitors, voters and people who submit projects. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What OneForUno is
OneForUno is a place where causes present their projects, people vote for them for free, and supporters can give directly to a project's wallet. We show projects and run the voting; we never receive, hold or move donations.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that mailbox safe: whoever can read it can sign in as you.
- One person, one account. Creating several accounts to vote more than once is not allowed. You can also vote without an account, as a guest (see Voting).
- Your username can be changed once every 7 days, and a name you give up is kept for you for 30 days. Do not choose a name that passes for another person, for the team or for the site. We may change or remove a name that does.
- Your profile page is private unless you turn it public. If you do, the optional text you write there must be true and lawful, and must not include other people's personal data, advertising or abuse; we may remove it, or close the page, when it does.
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
3. Submitting a project
- Everything you submit must be true, lawful and yours to share (texts, pictures, documents).
- The donation wallet must belong to the project or to people responsible for it, and the money must be used as described.
- Every project is reviewed before it is published. We may ask for changes or documents, refuse a project, or remove it later if it breaks these terms or misleads people.
- When an approved project goes live. Voting always starts on the first Monday after approval at 00:00 UTC, even when the project is approved on a Monday. The owner chooses when sending it whether the public page opens as soon as the project is approved (donations and sponsorships are possible from then, but nobody can vote before that Monday) or only on that Monday. A project that does not take part in the voting rounds goes live as soon as it is approved.
- How long it stays active. From the Monday voting starts a project is active for 14 days, which is two weekly rounds. It is then finalized: nobody can vote for it or sponsor it any more, and its page shows whether it reached its goal, based on the USDC in its wallet when the time ran out. We may extend or set the end date of a project, or give it no end date (shown as ∞); an extended project that was already finalized is open again, and its result is calculated again when it ends. All times are UTC.
- You keep the rights to your content and allow us to show it on the site and in links shared from it, for as long as the project is listed.
4. Voting
- Voting is free and open to everyone, with or without an account. Both complete five quick security checks once per round (an automatic check, an invisible robot check, two challenges and a final check) to unlock the vote of the week; no email, phone number or donation is needed.
- One vote per person per weekly round. A round lasts one calendar week, from Monday 00:00 UTC to the next Monday 00:00 UTC, and every live project takes part automatically.
- You may withdraw your vote or move it to another project until the round ends; only your last vote counts. Unused votes do not carry over to the next week.
- Vote counts are public and live, and they start from zero in every round.
- The security checks reduce automated abuse but cannot guarantee one person, one vote: someone determined can use several browsers, devices or accounts. Because of that we review results, and may remove votes or projects, before any prize is paid.
- Buying, selling or faking votes, or using bots, leads to removed votes, removed projects and closed accounts.
- The UNO and ties. The project with the most votes when a round closes becomes the UNO. If several projects tie for first place, each of them is a UNO. A round with no votes has no UNO.
- Prize. When a weekly prize is paid, 90% of the eligible creator fees that $ONE generated for that week go to the winning project(s) and 10% to OneForUno. When projects tie for first place, the winners' 90% is divided equally between all of them: two tied projects get half each, three get a third each, and so on. Payouts are reviewed and approved by our team before they are made; a winning position is not an automatic right to a payment.
- The $ONE token and the Community Fund. $ONE is still in development, so for now there is no Community Fund and no prize is paid; rounds and results are counted as usual. We support the UNO only with what the token generates: when no creator fees have been generated, there is nothing to pay out. Gifts to projects always go straight to the project's wallet and never pass through us. The Community Fund is different: it is received by OneForUno and our team pays it out to the winners manually.
5. Donations
- Gifts are sent from your own wallet straight to the project's wallet, in USDC on the Solana network.
- Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed. We cannot refund, cancel or recover a donation.
- Please read each project carefully before giving. Approval by our reviewers is not a guarantee of how the money will be used.
- Nothing on the site is financial, legal or tax advice.
6. What is not allowed
Content that is illegal, hateful, violent, sexual, deceptive or that infringes someone else's rights; impersonation; spam; attempts to break, overload or get around the site's protections.
7. Our responsibility
We work to keep the site available and the projects honest, but the site is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for what project owners do with donations, for losses caused by wallets or blockchains, or for interruptions of the service.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the site grows. The date at the top shows the latest version; important changes will be announced on the site.
9. Privacy and optional analytics
Using this website or agreeing to these terms does not give consent to optional analytics. You can accept or reject analytics separately, and change or withdraw your choice at any time in cookie settings. Our privacy policy explains essential security checks, personal data and your rights.
10. Contact
